Why Take a Scuba Refresher Before Diving the Great Barrier Reef?

Your PADI certification never expires, but if it has been a while since your last dive, refreshing your skills is highly recommended for both safety and confidence. Completing the PADI ReActivate program updates your certification status to “ReActivated”, which many dive centres appreciate as confirmation that your skills have recently been reviewed.

Refreshing your skills before returning to the reef allows you to relax, enjoy the dive, and focus on the incredible marine life of the Whitsunday Islands and Great Barrier Reef.
